Adaptability and Flexibility
This piece reflects how my body has had to adapt to creating and adjusting to new forms. I can tell that my stroke is not what it used to be; however, this is my path, and it is the one I am walking. This is part of my art.

In recent months, I have had to work on readapting with my body and my tools. This communion that creates a language of movement has been a challenge. My hands are no longer the same, and my strokes have been affected. But something that surprised me is that my inspiration and desire to create were not affected. On the contrary, I found that I had a certain mental clarity about what I wanted to achieve with my artwork.
In this adaptability, working with different tools comes with its level of difficulty. I have noticed that with a brush, I can make a better stroke, while with a marker, the stroke comes out completely crooked. But that does not limit me, as I do not seek perfection. What I seek in creating is a communion with myself, having this communication with myself.
Within this magic of adaptation in handling tools, there is something that has always seemed curious to me in my creative process: depending on what I have in my hand, I have a different style of creating. I want to start this journey of encountering my corporeality and how I live it in these new circumstances that life has given me in creating art.
